rm_idny, do you have the a/c relay with those fans or no? what about an adjustable thermostat for them?

Where did you find the airhat? I've been looking all over the place for a month for one of those suckers?

you can get them at just about any junkyard. even from the dealer, though i would get it from the junkyard first

just curiosu, but do you have any problems with water blowing in your intake?

heres mine, its an AFE stage 2 cold air intake with the pro dry 5 air filter. not the best picture i was just taking it for the engine, but its too cold right now to go take another.

stock airbox ftw...low end torque, plus i gain some high end because of my headers. i think i finally have it where i want it now...haha

i put a stock air box back in (with a drop in k&N) before i filled up the last time and man, that thing sucks. its back to the 14x3 for me.

You all know what I run. Best air cleaner i've used, and i've tried a bunch. Only one I haven't tried is the Ramairbox that indy mentioned, and I beleive everyword Indy says about it. I just never was fond of how it looked. I like my dryer vent tubing to be in my basement attached to the dryer, not under my hood.

Too bad the stock airbox is not designed to maximize low end torque.

Too bad it does.

I tried a 10x3 and a 14x3. Totally molested my low end torque off the map. Up high I noticed a significant gain, as well as a neat noise. I reset the computer and everything, ran a 14x3 for about 8 months. Same MPG, less torque down low.
