Sounds like you have aftermarket grille inserts. The stock inserts are black plastic in a honeycomb design.

yep thats the ebay aftermarket aluminum grill inserts....all you need is to spray them with etching primer then black paint....its a shame though as I really thing it looks sharper thye way it is....thats the style dodge went with OEM on the newer rams because it looks sharp...

Any ideas if the factory black honeycomb is available by itself from Chrysler?

Again, check the LMC Truck website. They carry all the grille and body parts. Chrysler may still stock it, but it would probably cost a lot more.

LMC Truck has them. Although I think your truck looks really good with the chrome inserts.

For sure gay color j/k. I'd swap u for my stock honeycomb anyday ,wanna trade ? yours looks way better than stock.
