Hahahah. Did they ever offer that color in a sport configuration? I have never seen one before. I'm sure any color could have been ordered in a sport though.

This is off the top of my head:
Flame Red, Black, Intense Blue Pearl, Forest Green, Bright Silver Metallic, Solar Yellow, Light Driftwood, Amber Fire Metallic. Thats for 1999+ trucks. If I can find some brochures from 1994 through 1998, I would be in heaven!

Default 1998 dodge ram 1500 grill

i hit a deer a few days ago and it broke my grill. My truck says "sport" on sides of the hood so i'm guessing it is a sport but i'm having problems finding a 1998 dodge ram 1500 sport grill. All the grilles i found said it would fit 1994-01 but "excluding sport package" I saw this thread and was wondering if any standard grill will fit my 1998 ram 1500 sport????

Was it 98, or 99 that things became 'different' on the sport models? (quad headlights, different shaped grill, different bumper?)

Is your bumper 2 piece or 3 piece as seen from the front?

Pretty sure it is 99 when things changed, 98 should be a regular grille

Yep. 1994-1998 were the same body as a regular Ram, just color matched. 1999 was the first year of the quad headlight/different front bumper/grille design, 2001 was the last.
