Default Got Me Some Brand New Goodyears!

I just purchased four brand new Goodyear SilentArmor tires! They are size LT245/75/R16 Load Range E (Yep sticking with the stock size)

Here's a picture of the tire:

And the Tread:

I think they look pretty good on my truck!

They handle a hell of a lot better than my old tires that were falling apart. They're really smooth, and don't make any noise! Now I'm gonna have to clean her soon. Do you guys think I should remove the bug deflector? A rock hit it on the highway, and a piece came off (you might be able to see it on the right side). I would take it all off and see how it looks, but the two parts over the headlights won't reattach after they get taken off. What do you guys think?

Now get ready for 40,000 miles of hating your tire purchase!!! J/K I've heard good things about the Wrangler SilentArmor/Wrangler AT (same tread) tires. But after my Wrangler TDs I am turned off by Goodyear.

I think you should take the bug deflector off. Makes the truck look much cleaner.

I've always had good experiences with Goodyear. This tire also has a 50,000 mile warranty, and free balancing and rotation, which does make me feel good.

I was definitely happy when the Goodyear guys told me what needs to be replaced on my truck (you know they always check so they can get more money out of you). The worst they could come up with was that the Power Steering fluid is a little dirty. If that's the best they've got, I have little to worry about!

I'm not a fan of Goodyear either.. I'm more a BFG kinda guy.. but to each their own.. In my opinion, new tires are new tires..some a little better than others but bottomline all tires cost a lot... and we hope they last as long as possible! lol

as for the bug blaster.. I'd say take it off... I took mine off and guess what... I still have just as many bugs on my windows as I did with the "bug flector"... I think they're just for looks... plus you might gain 12mpg if you take it off... ok maybe not 12mpg.. but someone will say something along those lines Just thought I'd be the first

I personally enjoy my Goodyear Duratracs. So far they have proven their mud worthy. But we'll see when the snow comes. Sure to be some good times passing mustangs in the snow. Tehe mine's put away for the winter.

The tires cost me $791 after discounts, tax, and installation and balancing. The balancing and rotations come free too.

My truck had the same BFG tires you do (at least I think they are the same), and they were way out of balance and pulling really hard to the right. So, I just stuck to what I use most.
