Talking got my truck back from having gears put in :)

well i got my truck back today from having my 4.56 gears installed!! its a whole new truck!!! the only thing i dont like is that it revs out to about 3K rpms before it shift out of 2nd now but over all its great. it runs around 1900-2000 rmps at 60mph. but i noticed a real high pitched wine at about 56-57 mph and so i called they guys and im takin it back after school to have it looked at. but over all its awesome!!!

i thought it'd run about 1500rpm at 60 with 35" tires and 4.56 gears. like stock 29" tires and 3.55 gears.

What kinda gears did you put in it??? I read somewhere that if you use USA Standard gears (i think that was the brand atleast) that they are very noisy and it never goes away. But like i said i only read that i dont know from personal experience.

I have 4.10's in front and rear, 265/75/16 tires, and at 60 mph's im only at like 16-1700, at 75 im at 2100 RPM abouts

and it feels good having better gears huh?

thats off.....I have 35" tires and 4.56 and its just over 2k (around 2100 rpm) at 70mph so....
my gas mileage does suck....(like 13mpg on highway doing 75 most of the way for 300 miles in very windy conditions so) it actually seems better in the city....lol but the truck has power and no issues holding speeds...
whine is a bad thing.... something is wrong unless they are poorly designed gears...but you got the yukons I believe so...
