Big time. Really poor design from the factory.

The same thing happened last year when it started getting cold.

when you go to start it, give it a little gas, by that i mean hold your foot on the throttle just a little bit so that when it starts it will run higher rpms, if it starts and stays running, its your IAC(idle air control motor), its on the back of the throttle body right on top of the intake manifold, held in by 2 T25(i think) Torx screws.

Now if you do that and it does the same thing its your IAT (intake air temp) sensor, it could be tellling the computer its warmer than it is outside, and not giving it more fuel to compensate for the colder more dense air. it is located on the passanger side of the intake manifold right up front.

Thank you. Just replaced the IAC motor, the sensor is on order and will be in tomorrow morning. In the morning I will find out if the IAC motor fixed it, or not.

Ok, all is done and well now.

Replaced:

Air filter
IAC Motor
Intake Air Sensor
Negative battery terminal

I found that my negative seemed to be a little loose at times, so I went to tighten it and what do you know, it snapped. So, after doing all of the above, it starts up just fine now.

Now I seem to be having an oil pressure issue....1 thing after another.

What is your oil pressure doing? Might be as simple as a failing sending unit. Screw a mechanical gauge in there, to see what is REALLY going on.

It just recently started. When I turn a sharp corner, it drops to 0, and the indicator kicks on. When running level at idle, the dummy gauge shows 39-43....when at highway speeds its normal.

is your oil level up to snuff? that sounds a lot like behavior one would expect from a system low on oil.... or, a borked pickup tube.....
