the click may have been a fuse popping.

on that video it seems like a dead battery to me. the lights dimmed when he turned the key and it is really cold where he is at. cold takes the life right out of a battery if it doesn't have high enough cold cranking amps.

take your battery to a parts store and get it tested to see where you're at. if you need a new one you should get an everstart maxx from walmart, they have 875 CCA and that is plenty for cold starts.

Id check all the fuses, and it looks like those terminals dont have a good connection.

leaving a car battery dead for a while will render it useless. you can wake it up with new acid and a good charge but its just easier to buy a new battery.

when an auto parts store tests batteries, what they do is put a high amp load on them and see how long they take to recover. too long, or if they don't recover (come back to 12v) then the battery is bad.

Mine did the same exact thing and it was the ignition switch. Lights dimmed as if it was going to start, but the starter wouldn't even turn over. Just made a click when it was engaged in the starting position. I believe you need a new key cylinder or ignition switch. I could gear up and down really fast and throw it in neutral and it would start, but I'm not sure how you could do that with a standard. Anyways, the switch isn't hard to install, just costs a bit....

It's up to you. I replaced my starter, Checked the battery, Traced all my wiring, and that was really my last solution. It's not necessarily out of budget for a new switch. Just about $130 or so. I would continue to let others chime in and give their thoughts and try tracing your wiring again just to make sure before you purchase one. Got mine from NAPA. You might be able to find one cheaper. And youll need a tamper-proof TORX head set. It's just like a torx head, just has a small hole in the middle. Youll see what I mean when you look at it.

Hmmm... same exact thing happen to my Land Cruiser awhile back.
Give the starter a hard whack with a hammer a few times. Then try to start. No joke!, If I am wrong then you wasted no $ trying. If this starts it, then you need a new starter.

Just my two cents.

No, No, No, Ive done this before, It brakes the magnets inside it will work once. Thats it, It will totally fry it, But ive heard there are contacts you can replace instead of replacing the whole starter. And could you try to hot wire it? Im not going very far into this but you could atleast try. And the whole starter thing come from a shop thats been rebuilding starters and alternators for 20+ years.
