I just meant the inside of the fenders and bed rockers...mud likes to collect there and cause it to rot quicker...
good to know...I google it and it seems others have had no issues painting over linx or rhinoliner ...I was just concerned that the two systems would have compatibility issues and some coatings like that need time to cure and shrink while doing so... I know your not even supposed to wax autopaint for the first month so it can breath and cure...

Good question and one I asked too.
The rhinoliner will fade after about 4-6 years due to it's low UV protection; the paint protects against that, plus you can wax it and still have a sheen to it versus the oxide flat finish.

I stripped it and had a shop do the rhino and paint, then I reassembled it. I know how to do the rhino I just don't have the facility until I complete the shop I'm building (50X60' all steel, 14 foot walls, 4:12 roof with a vehicle lift)...estimated completion date March.
