Cool deal. Do you think that big of a bore would be a problem? With them on the axle everything clears. The pads look like they are almost twice as thick. Probably alot better than the stock ones but are they better than the 7500 ones? The 7500 are $9 cheaper I think.

Idk I put on the 7500 ones when I did mine and love them, at the time I was using the part numbers from a chevy and putting on the same ones my brother had on his truck so I could get his ceramic pads

Thanks for the info. I am hoping to swap the axles into my 01 this weekend. I will post up if the 8800 will or will not work.

I am just watching this one to see what happens. But, doesn't the 2500 have a 13 inch rotor where as a 1500 has an 11 inch rotor? Would that make a difference as far as the placement of the caliper vs the rotor? Just curious

I got them put on. No problems at all. The pad rides in the same place as the half ton calipers did. When you swaped to the bigger calipers did you swap the rattle clip or slide clips as well or use the half ton ones?

Not sure what your talking about and did you notice any play in the brake pedal before it starts braking, like having to push the pedal down farther before the truck starts to slow down thats the only reason I didnt go with the bigger ones and I didnt think I needed them my truck stops on a dime, and hopefully tomarrow I will put in the bigger wheel cylinders

I don't notice any play in the pedal. But I have an 01. I think my booster and master cylinder are different since I had dual piston before.

What I was talking about were the metal clips that go on the caliper bracket between the caliper and caliper bracket. I call them anti rattle clips.
