Default Scary pics of my tranny magnet!!!!!

Having probs with my tranny so i dropped the pan and look what has been floating around in there...








Horrific. About to bust open the filter and have a look. Looks like my tranny has seen the light.

well i guess you would have a tranny problm if the magnet looks like that....wow....what did the filter look like

Absolutly normal,I've seen 10 times worse.What are the problems?

yea, thats normal buildup. nothing too much to worry about unless you really are having problems.

Exactly right. That's perfectly normal and expected. Why do you think the magnet is there?

well considering ive only got about 10k since last fluid and filter change, that looks pretty bad to me. cleaned everything off, new filter and fluid and everything seems to be fine now. there was so much gunk in there the magnet couldnt hold all of it.

would another fluid and filter change be a good idea after a couple thousand more miles be a good way to try and finish catching what didnt come out?

and being only 10k since last change ya think that still looks normal? the first 75k didnt look that bad.

havent busted open the filter yet but from what i can see it was just as bad.

Wear increases after 75k. Might want to have your bands adjusted.
