Only thing I ever did to the oil pan is tighten the bolts a tiny bit several years back when I had a small drip and put an oversize plug in it b/c the very first time the oil was changed,some knucklehead stripped it out.I have never let anyone else touch it since.

This is probably related to the recent plenum work, you may have to reseal that intake, sorry...

Just because it hasn't happened to you doesn't mean it doesn't happen at all. You haven't gotten murdered, but yet that still happens hundreds of times a day.

wow, that's alot of RTV, i just filled the corners up & then some and let it sit overnight before firing it...no leaks, as of yet

as to why it's burning, check your exhaust manifolds (i spilled a little on mine refilling it today, smoked and stank like a french *****)
