Default How do I get the headlights out?! (pic)

The headlight is all unhooked and just sitting in there... yet I can't get it out! The bottom piece that extends downwards gets caught when pulling it straight out. I can't imagine you'd have to remove the entire bumper just to take out the headlights...

Can someone help me out?!

Theres only like 3 bolts that hold it in? Pretty sure there is some clips on them but they pop off... Mine were not difficult at all to remove... Perhaps your over complicating it. Kinda set back and look at it lol... I think I remember a screw being up front the bottom. Raise the hood and yankem out lol?

oh snap I think I remember what you were talking about now that I looked at the picture more... You can't get them to fit out the hole? I wedged mine out by just turning them till they hit the perfect angle... Someone may have a better idea but just kinda look at it and start wiggling them and turning them at all angles.

Hitting a deer takes your headlights out pretty swiftly.

The plastic bracket that the headlights are built into have a piece extending downwards. That piece continues to get caught on the bumper no matter how I twist the lights.

If all else fails, I'll go deer hunting..

edit::

I MUST be missing something. This guy did exactly what I did, and they just popped right out. GRRR
