it dops to 0 psi? with mine when on the gas its at 60, and when i hit the brakes/come to stop, she drops to 40-45PSI which is normal. but if its going to 0 on yours, then it make be a clogged screen or the oil pump on its way out

yeah it drops the whole way to zero but not everytime.. like its only if i'm at higher rpms than have to make a fast stop and the rpms drop faster than it dings and the gauge drops..

IMO i wouldnt run it until you take out oil pan and inspect everything.

oil PSI dropping to 0 can kill the motor very quick.

lol forgot to ask that....whats the oil level at? you may have a leaky plenum, rear main seal, or valve cover gaskets that are leaking.

or like in my case, have the head gasket starting to leak.....

Valve cover gaskets require a re-torque every 3-6K

One of the Dodge vans we use to transport inmates at work does this too. The dash starts chiming and the "check guages" light comes on till a couple seconds later when the oil pressure guage returns to normal. Been that way for a long time. Must be some kind of short or fault somewhere.
