Lighten up! Its all in fun, If you noticed I compelmented him on his truck and told him that he would school me in the jumping over car arena, but if I picked the course then I would have the advantage. What is egotistical about that playful banter? I enjoy and respect everyones passion and creative bent for fab work. Your fab work on the Ranger was exceptional and I was just writing a post about that when you fired off your last post. I don't think I could jump my truck over 7 cars, I could crawl over them. Both would be fun to watch I think.

In the summer I work for Four Wheeler magazines and I judge and set up the courses for the Top Turck Challenge. I have seen every kind of cool rig and I respect them all. Some of these buggies have schooled me in the Rocks, and when they get stuck in the Tank Trap, the T-Rex goes in and gets them out. For a street legal off-road machine the T-Rex is very capable. Sure there are buggies and rigs that can do things that I can't, but half of the fun is in trying. It is all in the fun, and challenge. For me it is not about ego. It is fun banter.

Oh bummer, I thought that maybe it was your truck. That would be cool. I did a show with the Ramminator a few years back at the HubCity Mopar fest. The T-Rex looked so small sitting next to the Ramminator.

So what do I "now" about fab? A whole lot, that's what.
he wasn't saying you don't know how to do fab work, which judging by those pictures, obviously you do, btw that is some fantastic work you have there, i admire clean work like that, being an offroader, it's always cool to see homebuilt work, very clean welds too (better than i can do, but i never was schooled in welding, self taught)

he was talking about the specific fabrication that went into that truck, which unless you personally worked on it or have studied the crap out of it, you wouldn't know (hell i didn't know, and i think it's bitchin ride)

No the tranny has not been swapped out. After we flushed it, we put in new fluid and it has gone another 38K since then and still going. We'll see how far it goes. As I mentioned we tried a supershop tranny in it when we first built it, but it blew apart on the first trail ride, so I put the stock one back in it. So far it has been doing a great job even after water, mud, burn outs, heat..etc...

( now watch after I say that it will blow up or something..)

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but the key here is to offer your thoughts in a form that isn't flaming. From where I'm sitting, 011500, you're looking like a total jerk. I'm not trying to make a flame war. I'm just sayin.

Constructive criticism is great, but respect other people in the process. While poor grammar irritates me to no end, I don't make a point to tell people unless I can't even read their posts.

Just keep it nice guys.

Yep I admit that when I am typing I often forget to check my spelling and grammer. My mother would kill me for typing like I do. My daughter and her friends are even worse. They type in this texting lanquage that I have trouble following. As for my web page, I don't write that stuff, I hired a web page company to do that, and every time I have them go back and fix something they want to charge me for it.. Good help is hard to find.

That really wasn't directed at you solely. It was just a general comment.

Wow 54's, those are some big Meats. I have seen quite a few 2.5 ton Rowell axle shafts break with 54's. I am a small tire guy...42's...lol...

Show pictures when you are done putting them under your truck, I would love to see that.
