duralast (autozone) and ampro (advance) both have lifetime warranties so breaking isn't an issue. but advance doesn't carry a 1 11/16" socket.

im so pissed...i was going to start it right about now (7:45 am) but my fiancee got called into work at 5:30am. So i keep having to drive this thing with a bad wheel bearing, and im getting a little scared cuz we have our 4 1/2 month old daughter in the truck as well.

she gets out at 2 and i am watching my daughter until then, so im getting into it at 2. thank god today the sun is shinin bright and its 45 degrees.

I know where your coming from, children will change the way you think, and drive. Strap Her in good, and just take it easy.

My friend got his socket for the axle nut and his breaker bar at Sears but he pretty much only buys Craftsman. I couldn't spend that much for a socket and breaker bar atleast for as much as I'll use them. I ended up finding a socket at Tractor Supply for $7 and a breaker bar for $12.

isn't it just the alternator? that would take less than a half hour to replace.
