i have one from the end of 2007, two from halfway through 2006 and one from the beginning of 2008. but my tires have brand new tread on them.

I don't know, years ago it used to be said once you started with Armor All you could never stop or your dash was toast. I've got a feeling that was a load of bull much like it was said Carmex put fiber glass in the stuff to keep you buying more carmex. Gotta love a good urban legend.

Michelin has 3 part cleaning and protection product, but who knows.

And...? SUVs have a higher center of gravity, weigh more, and are suspectiable to little or no maintnance to the tires (dumb owners).

Now thats getting a little harsh, dont ya think purple? Or should I say Viper37?

And since when does any of those small SUV's weigh more than a full size pickup?

I bought my truck (2001) in 2007. It still had the original tires on it. All but one dated back to 2000. The tires were fine. In 2008 they started cracking a little but were just about worn out anyway when I replaced them. I'm now running the Tredwright retreads (search Treadwright for posts about them) with casings dated back to 2006


And while harsh I agree with Purpl. Maintenance is key.

hes makin it sound like suv owners in general are bad with maintenance

where does that generalization come from? can i say that since you have a badly leaking tranny that truck owners are bad at maintenance?
