Those are pretty nice tires, you should like them. As far as fitting them, you SHOULD be OK even if you don't have a lift, but some report that they have experienced rubbing on the control arms with 285's (I don't with mine).
Also, if you have 3.55 gears, you will most experience a fair amount of power loss. It wont be unbearable, but definitely noticeable.

looks like a pretty good all terrain tire. where are you? boston? it might not be the best off road mud or snow tire, but it depends on what you want.

thanks for the welcome guys, and about the power loss... my 318 is already a bit of a dog, all i have is an AFE CAI but im gonna do flowmaster exhaust, a TB spacer and eliminate those walls around the butterfly valves in the TB so im hoping to get more power from all that, i do have 3:55s is it all 285 tires im gonna experience power loss? any bigger size than the 265s that i wont loose power? thanks
