ebay headers
In addition, I had to lay under the truck and reach up to the header bolts with an open ended wrench in order to tighten all of the fasteners down. Doing it from underneath gave me the correct angle for the wrench to slip onto the nut.
DO NOT USE THE GASKETS THAT COME WITH THEM HEADERS.
I made my mistake by forgetting to get better gaskets because the ones that come with these are crappy. About 15 miles and I have a leak on the driver side set.
Overall nice headers, not true stainless but they're turning a purplish color. No power gain with them I haven't noticed. Barely noticed a power gain with full tune up, plenum, high flow cat, headers, and my 1.7 hs rockers put on. Even running 93 octane with my sct tuner.
I just noticed it drivers smoother and alittle more power. Not enough power for me though.

Thanks for the input everyone..Still battleing trying to install these two bolts on inside pipes nearest firewall.
Sending back my 2.25" inlet Y pipe for a 2.5" Y pipe too. Will have custom 2.5" Y pipes from collectors to The Y pipe, as we agreed the openings from header collectors are 2.5"

but to each his own.
I have fooled with every tool known to me ( I am an helicopter mechanic in the Military , and I can't seem to find a way to get these two ( inside bolts towards firewall ) started. I have tried shorter bolts, alllen bolts, stub wrench, ratcheting wrench, fingers, joint ext., swivel socket, etc. This is ridiculous for these bolts to be this hard to start. Again this is on a V8 360 gasoline engine.
Again how did anyone who has ever accomplished this with these stainless ebay headers do so...???

Loosen all the other bolts, pull the header away from the engine some, start the bolts, tighten those to snug FIRST. Tighten the rest. Torque to proper value starting from the bolts in the middle, and working your way out.
