Depends on how you use your truck.

Same here, since she has a later model she should check there first, under hood second. Then again by the looks at it she is looking to swap gears anyway so it wouldn't matter. Hope she has deep pockets for the gear swaps.

Then 4.56. Better all around gear for a daily driver type rig. Lots of power, but still very usable on the highway.

I agree 4:56's if it is just for looks and off-road every now and then. If you do the gears yourself not nearly as expensive they get you in the labor. I think this summer I will attempt to do my own gear swap.

Welcome most women don't stay on this site long from what I have seen and heard. Hope you make it if you have a project mud truck you might be able to add a little.

the dealership told me 900$ to install 4.10 gears if i supply the gears and the install kits. then i called a local shop that only deals with dodge rams and dakotas and they told me 600$. so i'm just going to install them myself.

Thanx for the advice. Fortunately I'm not like most women, I don't mind gettin my hands greasy... . I would rather be under a truck than sittin in an office behind some desk. I'll get some pics of the before mud project posted hopefully soon.

im still gonna have to get them redone so i might as well put in the gears that wont make it so sluggish on take off and will be able to "perform" better. . so there is nothing in my glovebox but under the hood reads : 3.92 then anti-spin differ.
THANX yall.
