lol yea dude relationships suck.....sometiems =\

anyway.... do you guys think a 3" lift +2" lvling kit would look funny with the tires i got on it now? the tires are yokohama geolanders a/t rated at 50k miles, so ima use those untill its time for new. im just gonna replace the cat with a magnaflow highflow, and hopefully get a lift. but i want somethin that will fit 33-35" tires but wont look to funny with the tires i have now. would a 3" lift clear 33"ers?

well you have a sport model so im not sure on front wheel-well clearance, but on my first 3" lift and set of 33's, the wheel-well literally burnt away some of the urathane inner-well mud guard. but it was also torn up and loose from off-roading and goofin off. (eventually just ripped the thing out) but 33's will clear in MOST cases. lookin at ur sig picture, the truck looks in darn good shape so why not..
but like i said. you have a sport model. so you (or some one else with a sport) will have to be the judge. hope i helped atleast.

oh and another thing.. i hope ur not thinking of puttin a 2" lvl kit ON TOP of the 3" lift.. it wont work lol.
and with the tires lookin funny. my only thing about that is, everyones gotta start somewhere. or you can sell the tires and buy different ones. lots of people look for used tires believe it or not.

i have a 3 inch lift with 265's and at first i thought it wasnt too bad, but the more and more i look at my truck, i just can wait to put 33's on. (very soon) so you could live with it im sure (i have for quite a while) but you will be wanting the bigger tires ASAP. alot of people ask me why my tires are so tiny

Lol the idea of PVC pipe seems even worse then our Northern hockey puck jobs.

I would go for the lift first then find the tires to fit (also gives you time to potentially find the ones you want on sale). Never had any probs with Fabtech or Rough Country.

NOTE: if you're changing tire sizes then you'll have to re-gear to keep your power and mpg, and that'll run you around $1000. Don't have this if you go the exhaust route..

my stock 9.25 rear end had 3.92 gears, you shouldnt have to lower ur gears until u get up to about 36" tires. with mud-terrain at least
and the only thing about about fabtech lifts is that there shocks are horrible. i blew all 4 the kit came with. a buddy of mine bought a fabtech lift and even had the dual shock mount and all 6 went out on his ram.
rough country ive heard is alright tho

Oren, where you from cuz $1000 for gears is crazy.. lol

Anything bigger than a 33 I would say regear and I think he is talking about gears installed.
If you stay at 33 you should be able to deal with the little loss of low end and do you know your stock gear ratio most likely its 3.55 but as stated possibly 3.92

Yeah the $1000 is gears installed. If I had the 3.92s I would already have 33s but I'm stuck with 3.55s.

Dunno, if your girl is a pavement princess you won't mind the low end loss. But I can tell a loss in giddy-up just from changing to 265s over stock 245s. Best route might be to find a buddy running 33s on stock gears and see how it feels

it aint too bad, just have to take ur time and follow the directions to the T. you have to drop the rear axle some for the blocks (loosening the U-bolts) the compress/loosen/remove the coil spring up at the front for a spacer or change the coil spring, and shocks. thats really bout it, maybe a drop pitman arm, depending on the kit. those are kinda a pain if there pressed on pretty good.

and also 33"s on 3.92s arent too bad, can still feel some loss believe it or not. depends how heavy the rubber is tho, especially with mud-terrain like i had
