yea man, i broke 2 pitman arm pullers replacing my stearing gear box. lol i torche dit, soaked it, hammered it...everything possible.

anyway...when i get new tires, im goin to get new rims. preferbly black. i want the tires to stick out a little bit from the truck. i know the rims i have now are 16"x7". if i wanted to fit 10.5" wide tires would they fit on the cragar 8" wide rims? im not to familar with rim/tires sizes. but i know i need an offset of some kind in order for them to sit out from the truck. like 4 in backspacing, campared to 5" backspaceing. if i wanted them to stick out further i would want lower backspacing?

The tires will fit. I think my 285's are at least 10.5" and I have them on the stock 7" wheels with no problems.

Yes the lower the backspacing the farther the tire will stick out from the truck. With to little backspacing it can be hard on wheel bearings.

So I called the muffler shop here that I took my last truck to, and I asked them about getting duals. They said it would have to be from the converter back. They said u can't mess with the 02 sensors, it will mess up the computer and air mixture.I told them I don't want a cat. They said they can't. Sooo does anyone run true duals here withoutt a cat? I know they make things to trick ur 02 sensors but I read they are garbage. I wanna run true duals with glasspacks.

They also said it would be around 320 bucks to do it behind the cat with no muffler..... Come on now...that's rediculous

I am running true duals with no cat, and most shops wont take off the cat ask the guy if you bring it in with no cat if they will do it. I took my post O2 sensor and have it ziptied to my tranny so its reading the clean air running under the truck. My pre-cat one is in one side(some swear agaisnt doing that but I didnt really care, I think I'll know if something is running wrong)

I say leave the suspension the way it is; go with a cat-back system. Pypes makes a great system with a free-flowing muffler - incredible sound. You'll get a performance improvement with the exhaust, however, with the lift you will only spend more in gas and tires.
just my

I am with Polish Dog on the suspension. Looks like a daily driver and mud bogging is for people with more money than me.
I have 1" block in the rear and a 2" in the front, with 285's it looks and handles good but not stupid, know what I mean? Sometimes I wish I would have left the suspension alone but too late now.
I live in the mountains of Idaho and have yet to need more of a lift then that.

How long have you had the truck?
Have you covered the common issues?
You don't want to upgrade the exhaust or put a lift on it just to have it sitting in the drive way waiting for some kind of maintenance.

I will have to find a better pic, it was on a wierd hill so you really cant see it.
