Your truck was made in Mexico. I think that has something to do with it.

Not nearly as much as there are in florida though, mostly samalians

 

I live in CA (originally from Miami), which is Mexico North. BTW, Minnesota only has one T.

Mine don't touch either Miami. I drove my truck for a week without the steering stabilizer and I didn't notice a difference in turning radius. I think that it is part of the design safety factor as VEETEN said.

p.s. I live in South Texas. Just because somebody has brown skin and speaks Spanish that doesn't automatically make them a Mexican. Plenty of damn fine US citizens meet that description here in this part of the country.

 

I live in Buffalo,NY and alot of brown skin here too. Dont think its tanned either. Dont think they speak spanish. Anyway where was i going with this........Oh yeah so we have alot of rusty **** up here due to salty roads. LOL

 

I have not went out and checked (nor taken a pic, desertdog ), but I do know my 44 has small bumpstops (which I think are on the back side of the axle). It surely doesn't have an adjustment screw though... damn that would be handy for running 35's on the stock wheels (to prevent the control arm rub).

Although my stops do get used from time to time, it may be because I do not use a steering stabilizer. I have to agree with ya though Miami, that cant be too good on the shock. Is your stabilizer the stock setup, or is it aftermarket? If aftermarket, it may not be perfectly adjusted, or the shock may be improperly sized.
