I can get some aluminum from work. a pc 24" x 12.5" will cost me $2.00 Will that be big enough to make my own plate?
I just measured a plate on an old plenum I have and a piece 16" by 7" will do

I am gonna be doing my plenum as soon as the weather warms a bit (cold and snowy in Indiana), but what is the plastic tool for and what is it?

Thanks, very handy to know prior to changing the plenum, versus figuring it out during the project...any other hints that haven't been covered?

Damnit I cant wait to change my plenum here in about a month! I'm gonna use the APS kit. I'm thinking about not doing the kegger mod. But while I'm in there I'm gonna change the oil, distributor cap and rotor, timing chain, serpentine belt, all the hoses, spark plugs (NGK), and the front oxygen sensor (NTK).
Plus after I do that I will be getting the Harland Sharp 1.7 Roller Rockers from John Mercedes. PurplDodge will be running like a beast!!!!

I'm hoping I wont recongnize the truck after I put on the APS Plenum and all the stuff I listed above. Purpl is starting to show her age after 179,000 miles. I just want to have her running in tip-top shape before we start towing the camper in the spring.
