Default another tranny problem!?!...seriously!?!

So I drove to class this morning...got out of class put my truck in drive and the rpms would jump up but I wouldn't go anywhere when trying to accelerate. I JUST GOT DONE PAYING 1800$ to get the tranny rebuilt! And about 4 months earlier I had a new govoner sensor put on!!! Wtf is going on here. I don't drive her hard at all.... My cel lite is on..and my rpms rev up but I don't go anywhere so something is slipping...agan....

The engine also seems to be runnin a little rough...has a slight knockin sound at idle....it doesn't do it all the time..it just seems hard to accelerate. And my rpms are about 1700 going 10-20

Check your fluid level and your cel. Then go from there.

x2 on the fluid level... Can you feel the shift shock going into D when you first put it into gear? What about in reverse? Try putting the transmission in manual low, if it moves just fine then your low roller clutch is gone. For $1800 did they replace your torque converter, what about the front pump?

manual low? and i dont have one of those computer decoder things so i cant hook it up to one myself to see what code it is throwing.... but it goes into drive/reverse fine..its just when i try to accelerate it moves very slowly but the rpms rev up. same thing that happened about 5 months ago, and the guy told me it was a govoner sensor and that was another 500$. it drove fine all the way to class this morning..... and im pretty sure when i got my tranny rebuilt, they did not replace any torque converters or filters. just changed fluid..and rebuilt the broken tranny.

for 1800 they should have put a new torque converter and filter in.
do you have any warranty left? the standard is a year.

it does sound like low fluid to me. when it is low you will hit the gas and it'll rev up then it'll catch and slowly push you along.

A filter is $3, they damn sure better have put one in... Manual low is 1st gear, pull the gear selector all the way down. Though sluggish acceleration accompanied by coverter flash (high revs) points to low fluid.

If, in fact, it is low on tranny fluid. The next question is WHY is it low? is there a leak somewhere? Good luck solving the problem. Tranny problems make my heart skip a beat!

check the fluid level while truck is runing neutral. checking it in park wont give an accurate reading.

Fluid level is just right above the ok mark..its pink..smells like b.o. Lol...put the truck in first gear...didn't really feel a difference.... But its still hard to accelerate...
