Default What I've been up to?

I have been making a fake bottom for the bed of my truck so I can put the sled on the back then slide the ramp underneath, I made it at the beginning of winter and trying to work out the kinks as they come up. Heres some pics sorry if there to big.

The box empty with the ramp out

Now with the sled in the back

A closer pic of the tie downs holding the ramp so it doesn't shoot back.

With the ramp slid in and two rope pieces to pull it out.

with the sled out and the piece over the tailgate flipped up and the tailgate up.

The whole things made out of 2x3's, 5/8 partial board (which is cut just before the tailgate and hinges added so I can flip it up when not in use) and 5/8's plywood.
If you have any qusetions just ask.

Jeff

Thanks, winters awesome. Gotta find something to do or I'd go crazy being inside all the time.

When you've lived in Canada your whole life you find ways to have fun with snow.

Great job, I might have to give something like this a try next year because lifting a 600lb sled in the bed of a lifted truck is near impossible. How is it mounted in the bed? Or does it just set in there? And what kind of bed liner is that? It looks good.

I'm not a skidoo fan, but that's a beautiful sled...

It just sits in the box. and the bedliner is line-x a little expensive but worth it.

thanks, what kind of sled do you ride?

dhvaughan- lol, thanks.
