2WD lift questions
i understand where your coming from i lifted mine for the height i take mine mudding and i cant go every where a 4x4 goes and i get stuck but i got a really good deal and i like the lifted look for a 2wd
yakk...maybe we just like the look without the weight....does a vette need all that hp. when you are not gonna take it to the track, why ask why. Sometimes we just do things that are really not needed....folks like us have some mental issues
so just do as they did dustin hoffman in rain man and accomidate as much as possible
...thats the best offer i can give....
so on with the show....

i have a lifted 2wd. got my 3" susp. lift from rough country for $265 shipped. and it came in pretty quick too. kit had 3" coils and a 1" block kit with shocks for front.
and as for a lifted 2wd. i didnt do it for offroading....although it helps.....i did it bc i like the look of a lifted truck and my truck was 2wd. no need to get rid of a good truck to buy a 4wd that may b tore up. i know mines bn takin care of cuz its bn in the family. never wrecked or offroaded....till i got it. lol

Im about to level out my ram with a 2'' coil spacer kit myself. Then i was thnking about when i tow/haul. The rear would be lower than the front then. So i was thinking of a 3'' block or somthing in the rear. Note: My ram is 2wd. So i would not be stacking blocks. The 4wd rams (correct me if im wrong) already have blocks in the rear anyway so it should be Safe/ok to do with just a 3 inch blocked rear on a 2wd(right?).
Does that sound like it would work ok and look ok? And what about shocks? Would i need to change my shocks out on the rear for this? All my shocks are basically brand new all the way around (gas magnums) So i wouldnt really wanna do away with em if i didnt have to.
Sorry for the hijack.
But some of this info might help others too and the OP.

block lifts just lift the bed/cab up leaving the chassis at the stock height so you will have to move your bumpers if you use blocks. it wouldnt change your shock travel
