So, shipping is around $20 for the Hughes? Now that is outrageous!!! I'm acually saving $80 over that price.

Hughes's plate isnt dimpled. Mine was around $140 or something, with gaskets and TTY bolts (which are needed). Spending the extra was well worth it for me, to give me more time with the wife and lil man. But good job purpl, hope it works for ya. Did you decide to use TTY bolts, since they are needed?

I might use the TTY bolts. Someone told me that they got bolts from their dealer for $12. Hell, I might get the gaskets there if the prices are right.

I reused the plenum bolts. I used new intake bolts for $1.50/bolt at the dealership.

I bought some TTY bolts from the stealership about 4 years ago and they were just about $15. I hope they still are.

I was reading up on tty vs grade 8, and pretty much all I could figure out is that the bolts are supposed to stretch, and kind of act like a spring to keep everything tight. As far as using the grade 8, they dont stretch the same amount. Can someone clarify that Im reading it correctly? I figured I would try to do some research since I wasnt sure exactly the reasoning why to use TTY instead of grade 8, but know there is a reason somewhere in the specs of bolts.

Thanks
