How many people on here actually have this intake on their truck? And did it make a substantial difference?

Hughes is a small enough company that there shouldnt be a restocking fee. I could understand 100% if we were talking about Summit Racing or JEGS, but we're not.

Adam,
I think you and I resolved this issue on your last phone call. Is that correct? I was planning on replacing your intake with no restock fee. You must have forgotten to post that on the forum here.

Kevin,

Reguardless if he did or not, he should not have had been given the run-around in the first place on a defective item. Expecially after dropping that kind of money. Let me ask, is he paying return shipping, or are you covering it? A stand up company would pay to have it shipped back too, because it is not his fault he recieved a defective one.. summit does, amazon does, but I guess we'll have to wait for adam to hear on that one. Either way the whole thing still makes me uneasy so APS precision will be getting my $ when I do my plenum pan this summer, instead of your airgap.

If you've been around a while on the net you'll find that most folks who have an issue whether its a vehicle or vendor related, seldom post with results or resolution.
It would be nice if they did.
Even if the OP's issue has been resolved, he'd already posted with his negative experience. It's too bad there will be a bit of a ripple effect here.
I've ordered from Hughes, and recieved my product in a timely matter, with no quality issues.

If you were planning on replacing the intake with a new one, why did you give him the bullcrap? Sounds like you were playing with him. Funny.
