For carbs yeah but I have never found one with the injector bungs and adapter plate. If you find them on those site I would love to get a link.

Those are not the same intakes as the Hughes FI Airgap. The ones on Summit and Jegs for $300 are carburated intakes. If these intakes were for fuel injection, there would be no need for the Hughes intake.

I got my hughes stuff today and checked it all and the plenum plate looks nice and flat. It just has some gouges on it, but that probably only makes me lose like 10 hp, right? They even threw in a couple stickers and newspaper! Sorry you didnt have a good experience. They told me when I bought it that it would be here today, and it was! No complaints here

Its not that they make a horrible product, it's that they overcharge a bit (more on the plenum) and they don't back their product worth a damn! So it's okay if you got something from them without a defect, but god help you if you didn't. I don't like to gamble with my hard earned money, if I spend my cash on a company's product I want to know I've got some support on said product. I know every company makes mistakes and ****s up once in awhile and a bad part gets out, but the least they could do is replace that part at no charge to the customer, not give them the run around. After hearing this I will not be buying products from Hughes Engines. I have no respect for companies that treat the people that made them rish like ****.

I understand the not backing your customers 100%! If I would have seen more stuff like this before I ordered, my money would have been spent at APS!

It's not really your fault, up until this thread I was about to drop a few hundred bucks at Hughes. But I'm not going to risk my money on getting a bad part. And not to mention that it's a complete pain in the *** having to call a company and bitch to them and complain or even threaten them just to get the service you should have gotten in the first place. IMO.

Not sure if theres something like it but we really need a sticky thread here where we can discuss companies both bad and good ones so people can read before this kinda crap happens to them. Just a thought. Call it "The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly" or some **** haha, I dunno I just love that movie.

I agree with what everyone is saying, but complaining about a restocking fee is stupid. Especially since most parts distributors/sellers have this charge.
