Default idle problems

i was just wondering if any one has a idea on my problem i have a 97 dodge ram 1/2 ton with 360 and when the truck is cold or after a 30 min. trip it idles real bad the exhaust smells like straight gasoline but if you tap the gas peddle it revs up for a min. and then goes away ive replaced the 02 before the cat. and the air idle valve and the intake gasket and the map sensor and plugs, wires, distributer cap and rotor, pcv valve, air filter, fuel pump, battery, and i have went threw all of the vac lines and still have not had any luck i was gonna replace the egr valve but the auto parts store told me my truck does not have one.

trusty mils method... turn key off and on three times leaving it on the third time...
the check engine light will blink in patterns of 2 numbers... for 1 will blink once. 2 will blink twice. and so on... Im sure you could find a list of mil codes on here somewhere if need be...

You are right, a list can be found. But one would have to take the time to search! https://dodgeforum.com/forum/2nd-gen...code-list.html
