Mopar performance valve covers...

I have heard yes and no on the leaking Freeze. I had a pair on my 99 5.9 that would weep alittle around the breather. But nothing that was major. I'd double check on the baffles with the 1.7's, IIRC Harland Sharps' stated the baffles would have to be removed or modified. I can't recal if they meant OEM cover or MP ones though.

Mopar alum valve covers do weep a bit at the grommets as mentioned.
They come with baffles included btw
I was running Crower 1.7rr with the baffles in though they were a small ss rocker.
I only removed my baffles cause of the rocker girdles I have ontop of my HS1.6rr.
From my understanding the HS 1.7rr wont fit stock valve covers, should be fine under the taller MP alum covers

Stud mount converted rockers will not fit under the stock covers. The pedestal mount HS rockers will fit under the stock covers in the 1.6 or 1.7 variety.
Most any rocker can be made to fit under the stock valve cover, but you need to smash the baffle down with a length of 2x4 and a sledge.

I have the mopar covers and the rocker rollers already.I havent installed either one yet but I dont want oil seeping on the covers because it defeat the purpose of looking good.I think I'm just gonna buy the aps baffles and have it over with.Just hope the weather continues like it has for the past few days.
