But, Broncos and blazers (unless you're talking 60's and early 70's) Have an "integral" roll bar built into the steel roof.

I'd say if you're gonna have adults that can make thier own decisions about safety, then fine.

But Kids is another story.

I'm just speaking in general terms here, but people always talk about "I'm and adult and I can choose to ride in the back. If I die, then I die" but one of many things you have to take into account is, you may be okay with dieing, but the person that T-boned you or the driver of the car has to live with that on his conscience forever. It's not a one way street.

If you have ever ridden in the back of a bronco with no cap you will soon notice how much that integrated roll bar will do for you(not much), to the OP if it was me and I knew I was going to be doing crazy s*it I would put a rollbar under the cap.

But if I was just going to drive through mud holes and kept it slow I would not worry about it, I dont know why your looking for a cap I would put the seats in the back and let them ride with a fresh breeze, much more fun that way

Here's another option. During the time our Rams where being made, you could buy a RamCharger that was basically a full size Ram SUV. It was only sold in Mexico though. You could try to find one of them on eBay or somewhere. Here's some pics:

THAT should have taken over for the durango design. It looks pretty tough.
