The old hub deal is a good one, and I'm sure it was much better than trying to balance the axle on a socket while hammering.
I didn't know that dremel ever came out with a red one, I always thought they were black or gray (or blue for the battery operated). Or is that a Craftsman rotary tool?
I have a Mastercraft rotary tool (Canadian Tire brand, but better quality tools than most) and I call it a dremel.... It's kinda like how alot of people call snowmobiles 'skidoos' regardless of what make they are.... Brand Recognition
Yup, i paid 25 bucks for my B&D and the damn thing is like a lil tank, has 10 speed, quick release lock and TON's of options. and you try to buy a replacement stud for a dremel and you're lookin at payin 10 bucks, when mine only cost's around 3.50 and does the same ****in thing. You're just paying for a brand that's all.
