Man after reading through the DIY section, it looks like you hav to removed everything but the tranny and the engine itself to replace that stupid plenum!!

Pretty much
I tried to do a video DIY but that was an epic fail. But removing the stuff isn't hard. but do drain the coolant first. I found that out the hard way. But its not hard. I think the hardest thing was actually removing the kegger. Kinda hard to lift when you're not over it lol. also sitting on the fender on the passenger side will help. Leaning and kneeling sucks. You may want to put a towel or rags on the front bumper for when you have to kneel on the bumper.

climb in the damn engine bay man sit on the core support and put your feet on the manifold.

Yea I didn't take the pump or fan shroud or anything else off. I didn't want to have to mess with all the extras. Only took off the bare minimum to get the kegger. I'm a lazy bum and didn't want to take all day. lol

Yeh, it sounds like a weekend project for me as a 1-man show. about 8 hours of wrenching and 8 hours of swearing and running back and forth from O'Reilly's and Home Depot for replacment of broken parts or for tools I don't have.
