Correct; we got the 7-pin connector under the hood (right above the PCM)

to get the codes simply turn the key from 'off' to 'on' 3 times quickly then to on. the check engine light should flash once then twice quickly. write down all flashes after that. when the pcm is finished give code it will flash 5 times quickly twice

I have a 95 Lesabre, it has a port under the dash that hooks up to my OBD2 reader, it'll go through the motions of detecting protocol and whatnot, but in the end comes up with a reading error.
