I don't believe the 340 or 440 magnums have a plenum issue either, but I could be wrong.

Haven't heard of a problem yet with the V10. The manifold of it and the 4.7L are completely different than those of the 5.2L and 5.9L.

The V10 doesn't have the plenum problem as the 3.9, 5.2 and 5.9L motors. But if you hear a high pitch whistle sound, then the intake manifold gasket blew and needs to be replaced.

And thanks for clarifying, I wasn't 100% sure if they used a kegger or not.

Great gun, but the 340/440 were magnums.

"1970 Dodge Challenger
The 1970 Challenger was sold as a hardtop and convertible version, with many available option packages. The R/T (Road/Track)was the performance option, which came standard with a 383 V8, or the optional four-barrel Magnum 440 V8 or the Six Pack (tri-carb) setup. The Magnum put out 375 bhp, and the Six Pack 390, but they were left in the dust by the optional 426 Hemi. This put out 425 bhp, but is a rare option with only 356 being sold."
