Default Headliner Fabric Larger than 54"???

My club cab headliner measures about 56" wide (door to door) and about 58" from front to back. However the headliner fabric at Hancock Fabrics is only 54" wide.

For you guys who did your own headliner, how wide was your fabric?

60 inch wide material is available but I think the color selection is limited, you will need to contact a upholstery supplier for it.

Add a few " to the length/with. You don't want to come up short.

Default New Headliner

So I was talking to a buddy of mine today about redoing my headliner. When we removed the weather stripping, we noticed that the headliner is already attached to the foam. Where is the best place to look for a new headliner? And whats the best way to go about doing this? Re-wrapping it with the old foam? Or buying a new headliner all together?

The original headliner is cream colored, however, the entire interior is black so I was thinking about doing it in black

taking the molded one out and ripping the cloth off and stretching the new fabric over it an gluing it into place, just make sure you put glue all over the mold so you dont have the **** start hanging again in 6 months

take your time with it, if you rush you'll be doing again in no time.

if its one solid color, just cut the length of what you need more, and put it on.

If the headliner is not sagging and falling down you can go over it but if it is you will have to remove the old cloth and take a wire brush to get the foam off before putting the new material on. When I recover the boards I leave some extra on all the edges to wrap around as the factory just cuts them off on the edges and lately thats where I see them start to go bad,I am starting to redo the headliners on 05 GM trucks now when the usually lasted about 10 years before falling and noticed they are starting to pull apart at the edges near the doors.

I don't have a problem with my headliner.
