Default getting a wrecked 2500

I am getting a 2500 with the v10 that has been rolled. Everything but the body is good. Has less than 100k on it and is a 97 i think. So i dont have much time to search on here but what can i use off it? I am thinking the dana 60s the t-case and the tranny? I want easy bolt in(no extreme fab work) I am pretty sure the axles are easy right? What about the tcase and tranny? It has the v-10 and a 5 or 6in lift on it and 35s axles have 456s and Detroit lockers. Its a short box club cab like my truck. It is a sport too. So it short i want to put the 3/4 ton axles in my truck and if its easy enough the tcase and tranny. What about the engine?

i'd go for it...those axles would be a killer upgrade...and IIRC...the V10/cummins trucks had a dana 70 rear and 60 front....

the trans won't bolt up b/c the cummins/V10 trans had a different bellhousing pattern....but the case probably would if the input shaft is the same size/spline count (and that case would make it much easier to put the axles in b/c of the tcase end of the driveshafts)

now, the motor, i really don't know, it could be done, it would be much easier though if the trucks were the same year...

Probably less time than if you were to yank all the parts you want off the 2500 lol. Then you could sell your rolling chassis, motor, trans for a decent sum of money.

Damn I might just do that.... For sure I am grabbing the axles if everything goes right. So then I will have my 5in lift and 35s lol with 1 ton axles and 456s with lockers. Be pretty bad *** that way.

if you have at least 5 friends to help you, you could swap the body over to the new truck....get a nice breaker bar, or power tools, undo all the lines, harness, body mounts, and it should come right out....could have it done in a weekend
