Default Need HELP WITH FRONT SHOCK INSTALL!

OK i have a 01 offroad and i guess this is a level kit or no? was like this from the dealer something they did? Im trying to get the tower off but if you look in the pic i have bolt heads on top and nuts on the bottom under the coil bucket that i cant even get any thing into because they are tucked up under that inside lip, AM i missing something do i have to remove the spring to get to these? I dont have my sway bar on right now could i jack up one side and flex it so the coil and spacer drop out of the bucket to get to the nuts ? I dont have a spring compresser but could rent one. TOOK like 15 mins to do the rears now im stumped on the front towers, they are not studs or tack welded nuts on the underside, i hit em with an impact and they just spin?? Thanks

That would be a coil spacer.

Unbolt that bucket on top and there is a center nut on top of the bucket that needs to be unbolted as well and dont forget the one on the axel

Yeah i got the center top shock nut spun off, but now it's the three bolts and nuts that hold the shock tower tree on that i cant get off, the nuts on the underside are tucked up under that inside lip.

Don't know. Extension? Get mad fix it with a hammer is what I would do.

You don't need to take the spacer out.

Just unbolt the bucket on top (should be 4 bolts).

Why do you even need to take that off. Can't you just unbolt the shock at the top and bottom and slide it out?

Unless I'm misunderstanding what you are asking, all you need to do is loosen the two nuts in the picture (a wrench should work) and the third one inside the engine bay.
The haynes manual says to jack up the truck and put a jack stand on the frame. Remove the tire. Jack up the axle just enough to support it.

He can't get a socket or wrench under neath the spacer to hold the nut while he unbolts the tower.
