I vote wheel bearings if its making a howling noise.

 

This is why I think its not wheel bearings:

Only makes noise turning left at 40MPH+
I jacked truck up, wheel did not move up or down, left or right.
It has 78K miles on it.

The first link you sent is a bearing and hub assembly. If your hub is fine, just go with the bearings.

 

Alright, I will check it out. Whats the best way to test the hub? $11 is no problem, dont want to pay 10 times that though. Maybe the old one needs to be re-packed?

 

So, I have called Advance Auto and Oreillys and they said that they only sell the entire hub assembly. Is this true? Ive got to replace the whole damn thing?

 

Looks like they are not serviced separately. Prolly have to replace the whole thing.

 

The older 2wd had the replaceable/repackable timkins.
The newer 2wd 2nd gens went to the sealed timkin hub assembly just like the 4wds
I've seen a post or two on here with people actually taking the unit apart though.
Me personally would change the whole hub assembly, if that's the problem.

 

See thats ****in stupid as hell why they would make us have to replace the whole hub, my D150 cost me 25 bucks for the bearings, but NOOOOOOOO i gotta pay $90.00
