What? You think we shouldn't allow folks to express their opinions? Or, do you think we should allow folks to pass on false information because IN THEIR OPINION it is true?

I would also point out, shuckapeafarms is the one that started tossing the insults.

That's an insult? Really? Ok......

This is an old thread, was resurrected by shuckapea, stating that dealer parts were not worth it, basically.... I will grant that dealer parts are indeed, in some cases, over-the-top expensive, but, if you think that any manufacturer out there has better quality, simply because they offer a better warranty, I can find DOZENS if not hundreds of threads on JUST THE SECOND GEN FORUMS, that speak differently. (any thread regarding replacement crank sensors springs immediately to mind.)

If you state an opinion, and folks disagree, you can expect some debate. The insult tossing would be best avoided, but, like all things in life, you don't always get what you want.

Um let's see there trying to save the OP from spending pointless money on parts with warranties that are bs

So many parts are rebranded its not even funny, some companies will buy parts from china and put different stickers on the same part and sell for different prices...and sepereate them by there warranties.. Even though it's the same exact part

Yeah I'm 20 but even at 20 I'm not an idiot like you say I am....and if I go by what your saying my lifetime warranty autozone pads are the best thing ever...they crack after about 6 months everytime but the warranty makes it cheaper for me

Also look at truck and car warranties, one year a company offers a 3 year 36,000 mile warranty and the next year it's a lifetime warranty

They didnt change all the parts, there just trying to sell more cars

That was not an insult. If you can't deal with the fun-poking sense of humor that any older truck owning wrench turner has, lighten up.

Expressing a personal opinion in a non-insulting manor is always encouraged around here.
