DeBadging
yeah, the tailgat stripe, i used just my hands and it will leave 5, i think, lines of double sided tape, +1 on the eraser wheel....you might check out some body shops to see if theyd split with one
yeah i pulled back the tailgate molding tonight just to get an idea. i see some strips of tape plus a lot of dirt/dust.
i think once i pull it off, im gonna spray it down. will the eraser work on wet tape? i just don't wanna buff the tape off and scratch my truck.

I debadged my entire truck last week, the only thing i left on were the RAM1500 badges. I also had the chrome trim kit which i also removed.
What I used was a heat gun and a metal 1.5" scraper (IF CAREFUL YOU WONT DAMAGE PAINT) don't overheat, just enough to heat glue and scrape. any residual glue can be removed with a clay bar and spray wax. and if it's really stubborn...use WD40. (don't use WD40 with clay bar, it'll melt the clay)

I also debadged with no issues. The eraser wheel saved my ****(made it a lot quicker). One thing is you may need a buffing and rubbing compound then a good wax to get rid of any ghosting in the paint.
I started debadging my truck today, along with everything else I had to do, I only got the pin stripes off the driverside but left outlines of the stripes. I removed them by hand and didn't remember about the eraser wheel until after all I had left was the hood. So now the wheel is in the mail and I can continue the debadging in a few days.
yeah my wheel is in the mail too. i'm ready to get all this crap off.
hey eric, did you remove the black rubber siding that is running along the bottom of the doors? just wondering if it is the same adhesive as the other items
