At least they gave you your money back instead of insisting on giving you another crappy part.

01green - what are your symptoms ? i had a reoccuring idle problem a couple of years ago and bought/returned several IAC's. after some head scratching my surging idle problem turned out to be a bad TPS. i felt pretty stupid...

my problem was surging idle at cold start. 1000-1500 rpm.

same goes for o2 sensors? my CEL came on three weeks ago so i had the codes pulled. it was something about a front sensor so i went to autozone and bought a 02 sensor from bosch at $80. however, i went and wiggled with the connections and all was fine. went back to AZ and got my $80 back!

i still don't trust AZ, i bought a clutch and fly wheel for my ranger three years ago, got it in between my tranny and the damn fly wheel wouldn't work!! wtf...

Most of the parts the dealer uses are extremely similar, if not the same, as cheapo parts you get at any auto store, only rebranded and marked up higher. This is not always true, but tends to be the case more often than naught.

I always try auto stores first for parts, only going to the $tealership if I absolutely have to.
