My 2000 dodge dakota with the 4.7 v 8 has original engine and tranny and only at 400,000 miles (I just rolled over on ) the tranny has started acting up .there's a loud whine when accelerating And I'm pretty sure it my Tor converter going out and .it also has allways since buying it in j2008
