pull the intake check the plenum, rear main seal, rather all the seals, much much easier when outside the truck can get it all done in less than 1/2 the time.

just a reminder, i know when i get into projects i get so into doing i forget sometimes the smart/simple things that should be done first

I know...I had to replace my wiring harness when i had a fire under my hood. long story, no fault of the truck.

Or you can just splice so the connectors fit. But make sure that you have all connectors connected, and there will not be a problem. If you have any problems, just snap a quick pic and post here or PM me. I can help with the underhood wiring.

lol can u help me? im not getting any spark to my plugs and ive pretty much determined the two wires going to the coil aint telling the coil to fire. but ive spliced the wires on the crank sensor? (the one in the bell housing) any ideas? need more info just ask me ill tell u what eve u need to know. i swapt the motor a month ago and aint heard it run yet so any help is appreciated

however you can get it out. Keep in mind, that the truck is sorta tall, so, going over the radiator support might be interesting. Make sure you keep your chains and such short, so the hook on the picker is close to the engine, otherwise, you may not be able to lift it enough to get it over.

Also, MAKE SURE that the legs extend out further than the arm with the hook. BAD things happen otherwise.
