Rather the piecing it together, I highly recommend getting a full kit from one of the lift manufacturers..... that way, you are sure to get what you need, and have matched parts.

I think it would be easier just to get a complete lift kit instead of piecing together something.

Your going to need a lot more than just a pitman arm drop and I don't think they make 7" lift coils.. I know the reputable lift manufactures don't.

I hate to be the police, but there are laws in all states that dictate how high you can go with your truck not just to be a buzz kill, but for your safety and for everyone else.

I think that if you go that high and try to drive that on the street everyday you are going to run into some serious maneuverability issues not to mention rollover risks.

Anyway, what size tire are you trying to run on that?

Perhaps it would be best for you to start by reading up on what lift builders recommend. You didn't mention the size tires you planned on running, but for a 1500 with stock axles you're pretty much limited to 35 inch tires, which you could clear with 5 inch lift although that might look small with a body lift.
You'll need to consider regearing as well.

with a 3 inch body and fab techs 5.5 suspension lift, you can easily fit 38's without any trimming of the wells, but if you plan on wheeling the hell out of it, the your gonna have to trim the front wells out a bit or dent some sheet metal and have your tires rip off the pretty plastic fender wells dodge so kindly installed on your truck

Here is the list of parts needed to do a 7" lift, C/P from Skyjackers install sheet. After building trucks for more than 30 years I can tell you this about peicing a lift together for a truck.

1 It will cost you more in the long run to piece a lift together (time, gas, freight, parts)
2 The truck will never drive right (is it safe)
3 The aggravation for not having the right parts and an ill handling truck (very high)
4 The chances of you finishing the lift 50/50
5 Time redoing and replacing parts because they all don't work together right (high)

So in short go get a liftkit and do it right the first time and have a fun time with it, this is a major cost and upgrade that you should be happy with during and after the install.

Just my 2 cents

axles that will hold up to offroading with the 38" tires and ideally brake upgrades.... I only has 35's and stopping sucks with all new brakes...and they dont make any big enough because of liability...its not smart or safe unless its never used on the road or you put big bucks into reengineering it to be safe like the big show trucks.. (hate to be the buzz kill here but reality needs to be considered)
