where in texas are you located? im close to san antonio and there are inspection places here that dont even require your truck to run.
seriously my last truck ran out of gas in line of the inspection place and they still inspected it while i got 5 gal of gas next door.

95 is obdI & not compatible with an SCT tuner.
Did you change pcm, harness & trans to later model year with 46re?

Inspections are good and bad.

Good because they keep idiots from running POS vehicles that could lose trim or body pieces any minute doing 65 on the highway, and endanger other vehicles.

Bad because of the "green people" and their emissions stuff.

Out here when you get close to the Indian Reservations, there are lot of the POS vehicles flying around. Not saying all Native Americans are this way (I actually had a best friend in High School back in the day that was a native). We don't have inspections in South Dakota, a blessing... and a curse.
