engine light came on, code reader said system too lean(bank1) anyone know what i need to do to fix it? truck bogs out and barely moves when trying to accelerate.
First thing I would look at is fuel pressure. If that's ok, might be an O2 sensor on its way out. Possibly a plugged/dead injector as well. Do you have a miss at all?
Plugged cat?
When is the last time you did a tuneup? How many miles on the truck?
well i had a previous code for cylinder seven misfire but thats no longer there, truck has 100 000. going to clean injectors and check that cat out today, see what happens from there.
if its running lean, that would be an 02sensor...(im a mechanic, ive dealt with those codes MANY times.) and since it says bank 1, thats a dead giveaway....Bank 1 is the Pre-cat sensor.
