Blew a brakeline today

Thank you. I already fixed it and it was pretty easy to do. This was the first time I repaired a brakeline. I plan on doing all the brakelines this summer because they are all pretty rusted and i dont want this to happen on the street because i'd be replacing more than just brakelines (i'd have to replace my pants too)

Brakelines are cheaper than pants.....

Make sure you replace the rubber lines as well.

In case you don't know, you need to use a double flare on the ends.

my bad i thought you were talking about the one from the abs to the front axle. i tell ya though i replaced all of mine except the one that crosses the front axle, mine had the rubber coating on it so i just cut off the exposed and replaced that piece, i'm not all about the couplings but nothing leaks and holds good pressure so i am good with it.

mine blew off in the exact same place last spring.was a 100 miles from home and had to get towed.thank god for CAA.got the old girl in the driveway and replaced all the lines.
