Im about to purchase one of the two today but I just wanted some reviews over both of them. I will also buy the intake bolts and necessary gaskets as well.
well all together, hughes is a little cheaper in price. personally i plan on getting hughes bc a lot of people have it and have reported no problems. what bolts are TTY? plenum or intake bolts?

so when working on the motor, i can reuse the other bolts other than the intake bolts? for example, timing cover bolts, valve cover bolts? just wondering so i know what bolts to order.
hey nando, what bolts are you ordering? just intake bolts from hughes?

So far as I know, the intake bolts are the only ones you MUST replace. Reportedly, the bolts that hold the steel plenum plate on are a tad to long, but, most folks when they are in there replace the plate anyway, and the hughes unit comes with new bolts in any event.

They are both the same price.
But since APS includes Mopar gaskets and bolts for $135, I'd go with APS.
If you get the hughes plenum kit, and the gasket/intake bolt kit, then you will have a brand new set of all bolts. do not need new timing chain cover bolts. Also, the onloy things you need to unbolt to take off the intake are the valvecovers, Alternator, AC and accessory bracket.
GEt the hughes plenum plate kit AND the separate hardware kit (gaskets and intake bolts)
86 plenum plate kit
44.96 for the hardware kit
So...what exactly happens if you reuse them? Just curious here.
you will strip the threads in your intake because when you torque to specs, the intake will still be loose, then you will hjave to overtorque to compensate, and then you will strip the threads.
